Inside Sales Manager – Public Safety Sales

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with our current customer base to provide sales assistance, re-establishing and strengthening our relationships with our existing customers.
  • Call potential prospects that may have an interest in Body Worn Video. Determine interest, qualify and establish product evaluations
  • Assist department personnel that are evaluating our products.

Qualifications:

  • Computer Skills – Experienced with the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Programs

    • Training of channel partners sales team
    • Support of channel partners sales activities

Product Manager - Channel Development

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the President, the position – Product Manager shall manage, develop, and implement Company strategies to generate sales. Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and enhance strategies based on research and data. Relies on experience, motivation and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Provides input into the strategic plan for product(s). Tracks, analyzes and communicates product and program performance vs. expectations.
  • Develops and manages product sales objectives and growth strategy which includes, positioning, pricing, planning and forecasting for inventory management.
  • Creates and/or provides input to recommendations regarding marketing plan objectives, strategy, messaging, marketing mix, and tactics.
  • Contributes to the innovation strategy reflecting competitive and consumer trends and market needs.

 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Consistently uses communications skills to influence outcomes.
  • Ability to identify necessary tactics to achieve sales growth in a variety of markets
  • Ability to analyze market research, product advantages against competitive products
  • Working knowledge of forecasting, planning and inventory management.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Controller

Status: Full Time, Employee

About the Opportunity:

 

Reporting to the President – The controller position is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of monthly financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of internal controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

Management

  • Develop, review and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives.
  • Ensure VIEVU accounting policies and procedures are in line with corporate direction and guidelines
  • Manage outsourced functions.

Transactions

  • Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner including international bank wires.
  • Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable.
  • Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly including international bank wires.
  • Process payroll in a timely manner utilizing ADP Payroll.
  • Transmit purchase orders directly to vendors for purchases.
  • Provide inventory support including billing all purchase orders received.
  • Ensure monthly bank reconciliations are completed.
  • Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
  • Assist with company RFP proposals with sales, information technology and management by required deadlines.

Reporting

  • Issue timely and complete monthly financial statements.
  • Calculate and issue monthly financial and operating metrics.
  • Work with President to complete the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
  • Provide for a system of management cost reports including product development, operations and logistics.
  • Generate 1099’s and W-2’s utilizing NetSuite software.
  • Provide company tax accountant with financials for tax return preparation.

Compliance

  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
  • Monitor compliance with US export regulations.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings utilizing Avalara Tax software.

Operation

  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
  • Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems including Cybersource, Avalara, NetSuite.
  • Coordinate new hire documents for management including registering with state income tax agencies where applicable.
  • Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.
  • Maintain all dealer agreements and assist sales team with partner preparations.
  • Manage vendor application user names and passwords for all registrations for city, state, county and federal GSA accounts.

Risk Management

  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage and manage renewals each year.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
  • Report risk issues to President.

Desired Qualifications:

The controller candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 7+ years of related experience with medium sized company. The controller candidate should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations. Experience with NetSuite CRM and Avalara software a plus.
